[Advertorial/Sponsored] Review - Faith In Face Hydrogel Face Mask

To be honest, I used to HATE putting on face mask, I think I only do once every 2 months. I prefer applying oil-free cream than to put on mask because I have to try very hard to stay awake for 30 minutes or more before I can remove and have my beauty sleep but….. I always fall asleep half way through, so I woke up to a totally dried up mask on my bed. *chuckles*

But still, I may be very picky when it comes to masks. I only prefer to use HYDROGEL MASK

For those who don't know what's a hydrogel mask, it's something that’s quite new to the market and not all cosmetic brands has it. Hydrogel masks fits so much better unlike those regular microfibre / cotton sheet masks. I love the soft texture and it's so much more gentler to the face.

Hydrogel masks in the market are quite limited. I'm honoured that I get to try Faith in Face's Hydrogel Masks as it's very popular in Asia! Faith in Face was originated from Korea and it suits most Asian skin.

I’ve received 3 different variants:
After Shower Look - Hydration (Soothing & Moisturising)
Black & White Film Star - Whitening
Nourish Me - Vital Nourishing

There’s other 2 variants available too:
Invisible Pore - Pore Refining & Tightening
Hold Me Tight - Lifting & Firming

Black & White Film Star Hydrogel Mask Test!

I am very satisfied with the texture; and there’s no dropping or dripping happened during my application. It's very hard for me to find a good mask as my skin sometimes get super sensitive. Sometimes using whitening mask will tend to make your skin feels dry but with this one doesn't. It gives the whitening & hydration effect at the same time. Plus point for Faith in Face Hydrogel Masks.

Good thing about hydrogel masks, is unlike microfibre / cotton sheet masks, sometimes when you “over-timed” your microfibre / cotton sheet masks, they give you the opposite effect, where it absorbs your face nutrients instead of your face absorbing from your mask, so you get the tight feeling when your microfibre / cotton sheet masks dries up. WHICH IS NOT VERY GOOD.

My skin felt so hydrated after using the hydrogel mask. I can immediately see the skin turn radiant after using the mask! I can even feel the bouncy-ness and glow on my skin ~

How to use:
After cleansing your face, take the mask out of the packet.
The hydrogel mask is split into two: one for the bottom half of the face and one for the top half. Because the hydrogel is so flimsy, the mask has backing plastic sheets on both sides of the mask to help hold its shape to put on the face.
First, take the piece of mask for the bottom half of the face and peel off the thicker plastic backing sheet.
Do not peel off the other thinner side yet.
Smooth the mask onto your face and then peel off the other plastic sheet.
Now take the piece for the top half of the face and do the same.
Leave mask on for 20 to 30 minutes.
Take off and massage any excess for better absorption.
There is no need to rinse off.

Note: Faith in Face tips says you may want to refrigerate the mask for better results.
